The TETFUND Enterprise Challenge is an idea-pitching and grant competition designed to empower young Africans to transform their ideas, skills, and passions into scalable business ventures or social enterprises. This competition model was adopted to challenge the creativity and resilience of young entrepreneurs, providing them with the opportunity to thrive in the business world.
All participants are required to undergo a mandatory Boot Camp and Pitching Competitions. Those with the most promising business ideas will receive both financial and technical support. The Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa, a non-political, non-discriminatory, and non-profit organization established in Nigeria in 2018, spearheads this initiative with the goal of nurturing a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs across Africa.
Eligibility Requirements for the 2024 TETFUND Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge:
The Ugwumba TETFUND Enterprise Challenge is open to Nigerian entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40, who have innovative ideas that can be developed into successful business ventures or social enterprises.
Benefits of the 2024 TETFUND Enterprise Challenge:
- 1st Prize: N2 million
- 2nd Prize: N1 million
- 3rd Prize: N700,000
- 4th Prize: N500,000
- 5th Prize: N300,000
- Consolation Prizes: N100,000 each for finalists placed 6th to 10th
