Objective
The primary goal of the Mastercard Foundation AgroHack Challenge is to harness innovative solutions that promote rapid growth in the agricultural food sector, increase output and profitability for farmers, create new jobs, and enhance food security in Nigeria.
The Mastercard Foundation envisions a world where everyone has the opportunity to learn and prosper, believing that access to education, financial services, and skills training can provide this opportunity. The foundation is keen on helping economically disadvantage young Nigerians and Africa in large to find opportunities to lift themselves, their families, and their communities out of poverty.
Application Requirements
To eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a team consisting of at least two members
- Possess an innovative or scalable business idea or model within the agricultural sector (from farm to fork)
- Aim to transform a community, nation, region, or have a global impact
- Hav a minimum viable project
- Present a business model with clear customer segment
- Demonstrate any market traction.
