About the CMPA Equity Scholarship
The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the medical community. Acknowledging the systemic barriers and socioeconomic challenges faced by underrepresented groups, the CMPA is offering the Equity Scholarship to support Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), and other racialized medical professionals.
Scholarship Fund Benefits
The CMPA is providing three (3) Equity Scholarships for recipients to attend the 2024 Family Medicine Forum (FMF) in Vancouver, BC, from November 6-9, 2024. The scholarship will cover the registration fees for any category of attendance at FMF 2024. However, it does not cover additional costs such as travel, accommodation, meals, and incidentals.
