2024 Estonian Government Scholarship

Estonia government is offering scholarships for international students who intend to pursue further studies abroad for a degree program. The Estonian government funds this scholarship under the Ministry of Education and Research, Education and Youth Board and will provide a stipend of €7,920 for every selected candidate. 

The scholarship covers tuition fees across all programs, hence the Estonia Degree And Exchange Scholarship is fully funded.

The Estonia Degree And Exchange Scholarship is provided by the Estonian government. It’s a study-abroad route for applicants who intend in Europe for either undergraduate, postgraduate, Master’s or even PhD programs. The scholarship is only available for 40 selected countries is fully funded and provides €7,920 Stipend per year. No IELTS is required and the deadline is September 1, 2024. 

2024 Government of Estonia Scholarship Details:

Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and Education and Youth Board offer scholarships to international students, according to bilateral intergovernmental or inter-ministerial agreements entered with other countries.

Estonia Degree and Exchange Program 2024: Application Guidelines and Requirements 

Degree Students:

  • Undergraduate level: Open to students pursuing fields related to Estonian language and culture. 
  • Master’s and Doctoral Levels: Open for students in all fields of study

Exchange students

  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in a foreign higher education institution 
  • Scholarship duration: Covers up to 10 calendar months per year for studies in Estonia.

Benefits 

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s students receive €350 per month.
  • Doctoral students receive €660 per month.
  • Degree students are funded for 12 months of the academic year.
  • Exchange students are funded for up to 10 calendar months per year.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following;

  • Completed application form,
  • A motivation letter.
  • Valid identification (passport or ID).
  • Confirmation of admission from the Estonian higher education institution.
  • Provide translations if documents are not in Estonian or English.
  • If the additional documents are not in Estonian or English, they must be provided with translations into either English or Estonian.

  • Apply for admission to a foreign higher institution in Estonia
  • Get the required documents and submit your application through the Submission Link
  • Download the application form and attach all relevant documents.
  • 2024 application period will be open August 1st 2024 until September 1st (23:59, Estonian time). Please send your application form and required documents to rvo.dokumendid@harno.ee.
  • All documents must be attached to the email. Documents signed on paper are submitted scanned.
  • Applications that don’t have attached a confirmation letter of admission to an Estonian higher education institution, by the application deadline, will not be processed.
